SOUS LE PLUS GRAND CHAPITEAU

As night falls over The Louvre in Paris I'm overtaken by the wonder and beauty of it all. What a magnificent structure that houses some of the worlds finest treasures. Artists who pursue their passions send ripples out for generations. I'm incredibly grateful for this moment, captured forever.

Once, Picasso was asked what his paintings meant. He said, "do you ever know what the birds are singing? You don't, but you listen to them anyway." So sometimes with art, it is important just to look.
I've just come back from 11 days of photographing Paris, visiting the museums and experiencing art made by Picasso', Monet, Van Gough, Renoir, Joan Mitchell, Degas, Hockney, Bonnard and Cezanne as well as many more incredible artists. I completely agree with Picasso, sometimes it is important just to look.

About Delores

Photographer, Painter & Spiritual Director

Creating makes me feel alive. Whether it’s creating a new home or renovation as an interior designer, creating images as the sun comes up, capturing a newborn sleeping before me, creating a course to teach about art, photography or spirituality, creating contemplative pilgrimages, creating abstract and impressionistic paintings, creating a meal for friends or family, baking something delicious or simply making bath bombs—it’s all a rush.
