Lisfranc injury 2024
Due to a serious foot injury I did not show or create any saleable work in 2024. I did create iPhone photos, like this floral one from my recliner and a lot of photos of my many visitors, as well as sunrises, sunsets and storms that I took in from our bedroom window.
I suffered a Lisfranc injury along with six broken bones and displacement of my bones due to all the torn ligaments and tendons that typically hold our foot together. I’m slowly stepping back into my work after two surgeries on my broken foot. It has been extremely difficult and still challenges me every day.
My goal is to be able to walk without pain and carry my camera again while walking.
Thank you to my incredibly caring husband, Ken, my amazing sons and their remarkable wives and children, as well as many other generous and loving family members, friends, neighbours and acquaintances who supported me on this journey and continue to do so.
I am eternally grateful for each one of you. Thank you.
